It took me putting on my spiritual big-girl britches to realize that Jesus is my willpower past, present, and future in ALL seasons of motherhood.
Momma, I don’t know what season you’re in, but 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 reminds us that in our weakest moments, the power of Jesus makes us strong. Paul goes on to say that “I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
That is awkwardly amazing truth.
Coming off this past Easter weekend of celebrating Jesus’ resurrection and power should give you the confidence to know that Jesus is your strength on this Motherhood journey.
Just delight.
Again, it is awkwardly amazing truth backed by faith.

Faith makes no sense
when it’s true faith working.
So yes, our Lord God wants us to delight in the struggle.
Refer back to the big girl (spiritual) britches part.
Whiny baby and sleepless nights? Delight is your strength.
Children struggling? Delight is your strength.
Battling between Motherhood and Autonomy? I get it. Been there. Still there. Working through it. Delight is your strength.
Unsupportive friends during the thickest moments of Motherhood? Delight is your strength.
Still trying to figure it out? And all of us Mommas are. Delight is your strength.
Pray this prayer always (2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ESV)
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
