It’s Okay

It’s okay to stop.

It’s okay to clear the calendar and do absolutely nothing without guilt.

It’s okay to decline that commitment (uh-gain).

It’s okay to miss out.

It’s okay to silence your phone during school hours so you can rest.

It’s okay to park in a “secret” place of your employer’s parking garage so that when it’s time to take a break, you can rest in your vehicle without interruption or fear the security guard will tap on your window to see if you’re okay (speaking from experience).

It’s okay to make room for you.

It’s okay, period.

To be your best self, best wife, best mommy, remember to take time for you!
